Heart Centered Therapy 1 (HCT1): Touching from the Heart - Assume Only Love

Heart Centered Therapy (HCT) is a gift of the heart, a sacred journey within.

Heart Centered Therapy level 1 (HCT1) - Touching from the Heart - is a profound 4-day class that teaches techniques that are guided by the wisdom of the heart.

The heart naturally knows how to heal our bodies and our consciousness and dissolve beliefs that may have held us in pain, confusion, and/or separation.
HCT offers deep healing without reliving the trauma as we are held in the safety, love, and compassion of the heart. When we are able to stop identifying with who we are not, we are free to discover who we truly are.

We not only work in the present moment but also access the original trauma where negative decisions and beliefs were formulated.  Step-by-step guidelines help us to gently identify and transform the emotional component of disease in the body, the related trauma, as well as the ancestral patterns that have sustained wounding within the immediate family and the family lineage. Inside this gentle and respectful process is a very direct, straightforward approach that pierces straight to the core of an issue.
This class is offered to both professionals and laypeople. It gives families tools to heal relationships and deepen intimacy and communication. People come because they want to heal, to be free, to love again, and to be loved. HCT is an experience that restores hope.

The depths of the work cannot be met until the heart is awakened.

The heart is the key, the access point for the journey to begin.

Please join us on this sacred journey.

The Heart Centered Therapy Experience

Heart Centered Therapy 1 (HCT1): Touching from the Heart - Assume Only Love

HCT Therapy addresses the direct physical effects of unresolved emotion in the body and also accesses the original trauma where negative decisions and beliefs were formulated. As we are held in safety, love, and compassion of the heart, we are free to discover who we truly are.
Heartfelt techniques include step-by-step guidelines that identify and transform: the emotional component of disease and discomfort in the body, the related trauma, as well as the ancestral patterns that have to perpetuate dysfunction within the immediate family and family lineage.
In this process, we also learn to internally listen to the sound and frequencies that framed/sustained our family dynamics. As we recognize dissonant sounds in the homes where we were raised, we can see what we may have given up parts of ourselves in order to stay resonant as part of our families. This sacrifice enabled us to be one with our mothers and fathers and to be a part of the whole, however, we may have dissociated and given up our voice, confidence, ability to love, trust, connection, etc... Recognizing this, we come to understand that our parents “also” gave up a part of themselves to be one with their mother and father. We can then step into a deeper understanding and compassion for ourselves and our family. When we come to a place of loving and compassionate understanding, healing deepens.
We are an intrinsic part of the family consciousness. The healing of the whole is interrelated to our personal healing.
In awareness, we can reclaim that which we gave up. In so doing we can support everyone in our families to follow this lead, as no one is excluded in the healing. It gives families tools to heal relationships, communication and deepen intimacy in order to heal, love, and be loved again.

We are so grateful that the Chikly Institute has seamlessly adapted by bringing their cutting edge classes to students worldwide via online webinars, without sacrificing quality and in-depth instruction.  Bruno and Alaya's breakthrough work in both manual and emotional therapy is pivotable to the integrative care and techniques we bring to our patients, and thanks to the quality of their online classes, we can continue expanding our skills even during these trying times.

As a seasoned practitioner who is a course junkie, collecting techniques from wonderful mentors.  My favorite techniques are from the Chikly's.  I use them the most often and the people I treat think that I have great hands.  The Chikly's cover both the academic problem solving and the heart.  I couldn’t be happier taking all of their coursework. Thanks to both of them.

Today is a big milestone for me. In 2012, I first learned about the Chikly Health Institute and had to wait longingly for the time I would be able to have the resources to begin the program. Three years ago I took a deep dive into the coursework, and as of today, I have now completed all of Chikly Health Institute courses in the Lymphatic, Brain, and Heart Centered Therapy (HCT) programs*. This education has radically altered the way I practice my work and the health issues I can address with my clients. The classes are comprehensive, rich in content and experiential learning, and delivered with the highest professional standards. When I began the classes with LDT 1, it immediately became apparent how essential the integration of the Lymphatic, Brain and HCT programs was going to be to ultimately be able to have an elegant intersection of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of manual treatment. This curriculum is a pinnacle of excellence in bio-psycho-social hands on manual therapy. This is a truly unique program. Many of my colleagues in the classes with far more experience in other CEU training programs, repeatedly commented how superior the classes where with the Chikly Health Institute. Since I had dropped all of my eggs in this one primary CEU basket, I was thrilled to know I had made an extraordinary choice. In March 2020, when the world was turned upside down by the Covid19 pandemic, Dr Chikly and Alaya and the entire staff of teachers and administrative team made an extraordinary pivot from live to online classes showing their tremendous commitment to continue this great work and meet the demands for their student's advanced education. I have great gratitude for them all and look forward to all of the new work Dr. Chikly and Alaya will continue to develop and teach.

HCT, What it has done for my practice:

I have often used dialoging with clients before and as part of my SER (SomatoEmotional Release) work during CranioSacral Therapy or other bodywork applications. It has been helpful, but not always organized. I find that the way in which Alaya Chikly has structured the dialoging, affords not only the process in Heart Centered Therapy to go smoothly, but is applicable to other modalities as well.

I have also taken Brain 1 and learned some techniques which require feeling the organs and segments of the brain in treatment sessions. Most recently I was addressing an area of the body that was painful for the client. When addressing this area, the client had no understanding why she repeatedly had pain there. I connected with the client. To my surprise, it was in recognizing something I learned in HCT that I used the techniques to dialog silently with the body conscious and the cells of that area. I was also sent to connect with the client’s brain, and then the brain and this area, as to initiate a communication.

What I found with the application of these techniques was that the area was expressing a state of “personality” as often is the case in working with segments of the brain. It seemed young and alone. I asked it what it needed to be okay, and a request “to be loved” was received.  The client had her appendix removed at age 12. In abbreviated form, I utilized the HCT techniques after sharing the information the body conscious provided as the client was willing to resolve this. As of 8/ 26 / 09, the client reports she is still doing well.

Heart Centered Therapy makes dialoging easier and with the structured format allows both therapist and client to be at ease during the process. It affords less “thinking” and distraction by maintaining focus on the process of release and allows for greater insight on many levels. When the dialogue becomes familiar to the therapist, the ease and the flow becomes natural and the direction effortless. HCT for me, personally, has expanded my openness to the infinite possibilities I have always believed in. Now, it seems more like a reality than just a belief.

I am very grateful and proud to take my first level of LDT with Robert Bates in Puerto Rico last week. When I studied LDT at Puerto Rico Massage & Bodywork Institute an introduction to the LDT, I was fascinated with the technique and the value and results of this therapy. I was eager to take the Chikly course! I waited two years.... but at last I took the course.

Thank you, thank you. I am eager to take the other courses in the meantime and incorporate the Brain Therapy and Heart Centered Therapy. I am feeling very confident that this approach and therapies will complement my MT practice.

I had such a blast in class (NER-L)! It is the perfect balance of hard work and fun! I am very much looking forward to taking more in the future :)

Just finished NER-L-O and the person who was my body was the same throughout the whole course. Now my client feels like her whole body is humming, where before things felt disconnected. Also, the ankle pain she's had for the past year is gone.
